What is NestBloom?

NestBloom is a revolutionary brand from Singapore, specializing in the creation of epicurean edible-beauty products featuring Bird’s Nest as its main ingredient. It incorporates Asian tradition into modern epicurean delicacies.

Each delectable Bloom is developed through the incorporation of the best cooking methods, recipes and the finest harvests from all over the world. Each Bloom is an epitome of perfection. We take pride in ensuring our Blooms are 100% natural, with no preservatives and additives. 

Beyond this, our team takes great pride in the aesthetic of the Blooms. Each Bloom is hand-crafted lovingly, so that along with the best of tradition, we are able to bring to you a touch of elegance, beauty and self-love – all wrapped in a moment of mindfulness.

What is the NestBloom Ritual about?

Our Ritual sets pair our Blooms with our NestBloom accessories to complete the experience, and delight and nourish the senses. 

Within our sets, hand-blown crystal glass bowls, spoons and an hourglass are provided, bringing luxury and elegance to complete the 5-minute ritual of mindfulness and indulgence. 

Where is NestBloom made?

NestBloom is a proudly Made-in-Singapore product. 

We are happy to share more regarding the origins of the hand-picked ingredients which go into our Blooms:

Our bird’s nest is harvested from Kalimantan, Indonesia; the Matcha is from some of the finest harvesters in Kyoto; our Chinese almonds are sourced from China; our rose extract is made using Damascus roses from Bulgaria; our vanilla pods are predominantly from Madagascar and, our pandan leaves and rock sugar are derived from Singapore.

What flowers are featured in the collection?

Pandan Rock Sugar is represented by the Orchid.

Rose Almond Cream is a Rose.

Original Almond Cream is represented by the Chrysanthemum.

Matcha Almond Cream is in the shape of a Camellia. 

Vanilla Bean Almond Cream is the Carnation.

Red Ginseng Bloom is represented by the Dahlia.

How does each Bloom get its colour?

At NestBloom, we use only natural colourings. 

To share more, the Original Almond Cream Bloom gets its colour from the freshly prepared almond milk; the Matcha Almond Cream Bloom’s colour comes from the pure matcha powder; the Rose Almond Cream Bloom derives its soft pink from a touch of beetroot juice; the Vanilla Almond Cream Bloom gets its off-white tone from the real vanilla pods that we use; and lastly, the Red Ginseng Bloom gets its beige colour from the natural red ginseng extract.

What are the ingredients used in each Bloom?

We use a range of skin-loving, natural ingredients to create each Bloom. Do read more about it here.

What are in the Premium Blooms?

The Premium Bloom range of products feature long strand bird’s nest and are collagen infused. They are rock sugar-based and do not contain any almond

How is NestBloom preserved? 

NestBloom is all natural; free from preservatives and additives. 

We use a proprietary freeze-drying method to naturally preserve all the nutrients in our Blooms. 

This process allows us to remove all the moisture so that we don’t need to add any artificial preservatives.

Where can I find the expiry date of the Blooms?

NestBloom Products are all natural, free from preservatives and additives.

As our products are all freshly prepared here in Singapore and then freeze-dried to lock in all the goodness, they come with a minimum shelf life of 6 months for the almond range and a minimum shelf life of 18 months for the premium range. 

Please refer to each Bloom’s packaging, where the best before date is printed for your reference.

Why is the shelf-life shorter than most ready-to-eat Bird's nest Products on the market?

NestBloom products are all natural, free from preservatives and additives.

Our Blooms are made from scratch using real and precious ingredients. 

Each Bloom is artisan hand-made before they are individually freeze-dried to lock in all the flavours and goodness. 

Our Blooms are made to return to their original fresh cooked state upon adding 90 degrees hot water and steeping them for 5 minutes. 

Unlike Ultra pasteurised products which are made to last for years, our Blooms are made to bring back that freshly made taste that is unique only to NestBloom.

Is NestBloom safe for pregnant ladies?

Our Blooms are safe and beneficial for pregnant ladies.

We also recommend NestBloom for pre and post-natal care.

How do I consume NestBloom?

Our Blooms can be consumed by placing them into a bowl and adding a recommended 80ml of hot water.

Next, stir gently and wait for 5 minutes. 

After 5 minutes, your NestBloom is ready to be consumed.

How much hot water do I add to prepare NestBloom? 

We would recommend adding about 80ml of hot water, but the amount of hot water can always be adjusted according to your preference.

Alternatively, we recommend using our NestBloom double-wall ritual bowl that comes with the ritual kits. 

There is an indicator in the bowl that indicates how much hot water to add. The ideal water temperature should be above 90°C.

Can I have my NestBloom chilled? 

Yes, you can always refrigerate the bowl of bird’s nest after the preparation process. 

However, hot water should always be used during the preparation process.

Can we prepare NestBloom with any other liquid substitutes?

Using water isn’t the only way to prepare NestBloom. 

In Japan, NestBloom has been prepared using hot milk or unsweetened soy milk. 

This alternative has been very well-received by our Japanese customers. We would love to hear any other alternate combinations, so that we could share them with our customers.

How do you store NestBloom? 

Our Blooms do not have to be refrigerated; they can be stored safely at room temperature. Simply store them in a cool dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat.

Is my personal information kept private?

All personal information will be kept private under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance.

How long does delivery take, and how much will it cost?

Hong Kong Shipping:

Standard Delivery (Hong Kong Island, Kowloon, New Territories & Outlying Islands) (5-7 working days): Complimentary with minimum spending of HKD $800

Standard Delivery (Hong Kong Island, Kowloon & New Territories) (5-7 working days): HKD $60

Standard Delivery (Outlying Islands) (5-7 working days): HKD$60

Orders made after 5 p.m. on Mondays to Thursdays will be processed on the next working day. Orders received on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays will be processed on the next working day. Deliveries may be affected by public holidays.

I would like to have my order delivered to multiple locations. How should I place my order then?

Should you wish to deliver your order to multiple locations, please place your order separately.

Can I change or amend my order once it has been placed?

Should you need to change your order, please contact us at contactus@nestbloomhk.com/molikulewellness@gmail.com immediately. We can change and amend the order before the item is shipped.

Can I cancel my order?

Unfortunately, after your order has been placed, we will not be able to cancel the order. 

How do I return or exchange an item?

Due to food safety reasons, we do not allow returns or exchanges after orders have been shipped.

Can I place a corporate order?

FAQs

Should I purchase early for gifting purposes?

We do not recommend purchasing a few months earlier for gifting purposes. 

Albeit beautiful art pieces, we would recommend the Blooms to be consumed as soon as they are purchased or received. 

Hence, if it is meant to be given as a gift, we would recommend buying closer to the gifting date; with exception of Golden Heritage Blooms, which need to be pre-ordered at least 2 months in advance.

Is NestBloom vegetarian-friendly? 

Yes, vegetarians are able to consume our almond range blooms. 

Our almond range of products do not contain any meat or animal products aside from bird’s nest itself.
